Reindeer Sledding & Sami Culture (10AM Dept)

Less than 1 hour from Tromsø city center, our camp will take your breath away. In a valley surrounded by snowy mountain peaks and with the Lyngen Alps as a background, our authentic Sami guides will take you on a 20 minute sled ride and then in the fence to meet our herd, feed it and make memories of a lifetime.

After a traditional taste of Bidos (vegan and gluten free option available) they will share theirculture and stories with you. Come curious, they can’t wait to hear your questions!

 Important Information:
-The sled ride is subject to good snow conditions and sometimes we must adjust the duration of this activity. If the weather does not allow us to run the sled ride at all, we will offer you a partial refund. The rest of the tour will be held as normal.

-The maximum weight per person is 120kg.

-Pick up is at 09.45HRS in front of Radisson Blu hotel, the bus will depart at 10.00HRS. Look for a guide wearing a blue Luhkka (traditional Sami poncho). You will be back at around 14.30HRS.
